How to Set Up TDC10 / TDC17 on Nintendo Switch 2

For playing Taiko no Tatsujin: Rhythm Festival

Compatible with TDC10 and TDC17

🧭 Option 1: Standard Button Layout (Pro Controller Mode)

This setup mimics typical console navigation with Confirm/Cancel buttons mapped to Ka/Don.

✅ Steps:

  1. Open the “TDC Mate” app on your iOS or Android device and connect your TDC10 or TDC17.
  2. Go to the Settings page and set:
    • Game Station: NS Switch
    • Arcade Mode: OFF ← Important

3.Use buttons in TDC Mate to start Taiko no Tatsujin on your Switch 2.

4.“Pro Controller” mode (Important)

    • In the game’s Drum Controller Settings, select:
    • “Pro Controller” mode (Important)

Option 2: Arcade-Style Navigation (Arcade Mode)

✅ Steps:

  1. Open the “TDC Mate” app and connect your TDC drum.
  2. In the Settings page:

    • Game Station: NS Switch

    • Arcade Mode: ON ← Important

 

3. Use the “Launch Game” button in TDC Mate to start Taiko no Tatsujin.

4.In the game’s Drum Controller Settings, select:

    • “Drum Controller” mode (Important)
