Many users have reached out asking how to set up dual-player mode while using the TDC10 on the Nintendo Switch. Here’s a quick guide, and we’ve also prepared a video to help you walk through the process: Watch the video here.
Steps to Set Up:
- Connect both TDC10s: Plug both TDC10 drums into your Switch Dock.
- Open the TDC Mate app: Connect one of the TDC10 devices to the app.
- Select 2-Player Mode: At the 15-second mark in the video, use the app to select "2P" mode. Do this by tapping the “right ka” on the drum.
- Drum Recognition: Around 23 seconds in the video, start the recognition process. Tap “right ka” a few times on each drum—usually three taps should do it for the Switch to recognize them.
- Confirm as Controller: At 38 seconds, confirm your TDC10 as the controller by tapping "right ka."

Set Player Difficulty At 50 seconds,:
- First, connect the TDC10 for Player One and set their difficulty level.
- Then, connect the TDC10 for Player Two and set their difficulty level.
- In the app, long press the "setting" key to open the menu and switch between the connected TDC10 devices.
