How to Play Two-Player Mode on Steam RF with TDC10: A Guide for Players

How to Play Taiko Drum Master RF on Steam with Two TDC10 Drums:


1. Set Game Station Mode:
• Use the app to set both TDC10s to Switch mode.
2. Connect Drums:
• Connect both TDC10s to your PC via USB.
3. Verify in Steam Settings:
• Open Steam Settings, navigate to Controller, and check that two controllers are displayed on the right.
• If two controllers are not listed, ensure the USB connections are secure and confirm via the app that both TDC10s are in Switch mode.
4. Nintendo Button Layout:
• Set Use Nintendo Button Layout to Off for both controllers.
5. Launch the Game:
• Start the Taiko Drum Master RF game.
6. Welcome Screen Navigation:
• Press the Enter key on the keyboard or the yellow button on the black controller to start the game.
• In the game, the yellow button confirms, the red button cancels, the right Don on the TDC10 confirms, and the right Ka cancels.
7. Selecting 2P:
• Use the right arrow key on the keyboard or the right button on the D-pad of the black controller to select 2P.
• Confirm by pressing the Enter key on the keyboard or the yellow button on the black controller.
8. 2P Recognition:
• Hit the right Don on the 2P TDC10 to let the game recognize 2P.
• Finally, press the yellow button on the 1P black controller to proceed.
9. Controller Settings Confirmation:
• Confirm by hitting the right Don on each TDC10 or pressing the yellow button on the controllers.
10. Song Selection:
• Use the left Ka or left Don on the TDC10 to navigate through songs, and confirm with the right Don.
• Alternatively, use the up/down buttons on the D-pad of the black controller for selection and the yellow button to confirm.
11. Difficulty Selection:
• Use the left/right arrow keys on the keyboard or the left/right buttons on the D-pad of the controller to choose the difficulty for 1P.
• For 2P, connect the TDC10 via the app and select the difficulty using the app or the D-pad on the controller connected to the 2P TDC10.
