Getting Started with TDC10 in Keyboard Mode

Connect the TDC10 to Your PC
Use a USB cable to connect the TDC10 drum controller to your PC. -
Upgrade TDC10 Firmware
Launch the TDC Mate app and update your TDC10 firmware to version 2.30 (166) or above. -
Keyboard Device Recognition
Once updated, the TDC10 will automatically be recognized by your PC as a keyboard device. -
Start the Steam Version of RF
When TDC10 is set up as a keyboard device, it emulates the “DFJK” keys for drum hits:
Launch the game on Steam and enjoy drumming!

- F: Left Don
- J: Rigth Don
- K: Right Ka
For selecting songs or setting song difficulty, use your physical keyboard to navigate the menu.
Using TDC10 as a Switch Controller on PC
TDC10 can also be connected to your PC in Switch controller mode. Follow these steps to configure it:

Select Arcade Mode Settings in the App
Open the TDC Mate app and configure the Arcade Mode option:- When Arcade Mode is OFF: Steam RF Controller Type should be set to "Controller or Keyboard" (see Image 1).
- When Arcade Mode is ON: Steam RF Controller Type should be set to "Drum Controller" (see Image 2).

In Switch controller mode, TDC10 supports menu navigation using drum hits. The mapping depends on whether Arcade Mode is enabled:With Arcade Mode ON
- Left Don & Right Don: Confirm
- Left Ka: Previous
